Hi Everyone!

Today we have been learning how to ‘Keep Ourselves Safe!’ We now know what to do if someone makes us feel uncomfortable.

1. We use a loud voice and tell them “Stop it! I don’t like it!

2. Get away from the situation.

We have also taken part in “Clean up NZ Week.” In partners we took a plastic bag and cleaned Stewart Street. We found lots of rubbish and enjoyed helping to keep our country clean.

This week for Golden Time we are having toys and wheels.

What’s up world,

This week we have started our poetry recitals. We have also done our Asttle reading and mathematics test. Tomorrow for Golden time we are having room 4 in our room and watching Bedtime stories, the movie.

Hello,

Today we all measured our heights as we are learning about measurement at the moment. Keeley was the smallest person in the classroom at 122cm (good things come in small packages!) and Venja was the tallest at 149cm (go Venja!) Yesterday we had our June writing assessment. It went well.

Kia Ora,

Today we read a really funny story called ‘The Animal Undie Ball.’ The animals had a Ball where they wore their undies but a few animals like the snake, the hen, the elephant, and the spider complained because they found it hard to wear undies. The animals then decided to have a Ball in their birthday suits. Hahaha. We are planning to do some art based around this story.

Hi Parents and Kids,
Thank you all so much for your comments. It’s really good to see the blog being used and enjoyed. Tomorrow we have a ‘Mini Beasts’ presentation coming to school and for Golden Time this week we are having ‘Fear Factor!’ I’ll be sure to take the camera so keep checking in!
